Domestic appliance user-centred study

Inclusive design framework for domestic appliances: is a user-centred design study, carried out by Bryn Griffiths, a Helen Hamlyn Research Associate, working in collaboration with Dyson Research.

It explores ways to communicate more effectively to an ageing population how domestic appliances work, resulting in proposals for sensory devices integral to the product itself. It includes an 'inclusive design framework' for domestic appliance development.
